Hello,

This is the iPlay Power Repair Service F.A.Q. which will hopefully answer any questions you may have about  iPhone Glass/Touchscreen repair service.

First some technical info:

The iPhone glass and touchscreen are fused together and are sold as one piece, so the repair for a new glass or a selectively responsive touchscreen is $65.00 for the iPhone 3g or $75.00 for the iphone 3GS. It is not possible to replace only the glass. If you have broken the glass near the home button, you may need a replacement cable, that is an additional $10.00.

If you have your own parts, for the sake of quality control, I will have to deny your request to use your own parts. If you choose my service for your repair, your cracked screen it will cost you $65.00 for the iPhone 3g or $75.00 for the iphone 3GS.

If you do not see anything when your iphone is on, then you probably have a damaged digitizer as well. You *may* have disconnected it when you damaged the screen but that is unlikely. I do return all parts replaced so whatever has happened I can assure you that you will receive a fair deal.

For the iPhone 3G:
The Glass/Touchscreen replacement is $65.00
If the LCD is not working then it will need replacement and the cost for LCD replacement is $80.00
To replace both is $120.00.

For the iPhone 3GS
The Glass/Touchscreen replacement is $75.00
If the LCD is not working then it will need replacement and the cost for LCD replacement is $130.00
To replace both is $180.00.

Service Info:

The repair of the Glass/Touchscreen and/or replacement of the LCD takes about an hour. Scheduling an appointment makes the best use of both of our time. If you are unable to come to my place of business, I can meet you at your workplace and do the repair if you have a space available for an extra $25.00.
